Reception for the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan
On 10 December the Embassy hosted a reception for the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan in a hotel in Juba. About 250 people from the Government of South Sudan, the diplomatic corps and other organisations joined the event. Tempura and Japanese sake were served and Japanese contingent staff in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) showed karate and drum performances.
