Lecture by Ambassador Kiya Masahiko at Ebony Center of Strategic Studies

On 12 September Ambassador Kiya Masahiko delivered a lecture entitled “Supporting Peace and Development in South Sudan –A Japanese Perspective-“ organized by Ebony Center of Strategic Studies. Based on his experience for 2 years and a half as Ambassador of Japan to South Sudan, he highlighted Japan’s development approaches and projects supported by Japan so far and emphasized that sustainable peace in South Sudan can only be achieved by their ownership and commitment as well as mutual understanding and cooperation with the international community.
